Last verse, same as the first

Another Sunday, another freak out over an exam. Honestly now, I'm boring myself at this point.
I liked Latter Days. Some of the acting was a bit on the weak side (Jacqueline "I'll take my camp with a side of ham" Bisset's performance, most notably), but the strength of Steve Sandvoss and the overall plot more than made up for the few black holes. Why did I mention that? Because I've been seeing more and more Elders on my bus. They stand out because, ya know, the Elders are young white guys and my neighborhood is, well, black. I've yet to have one of them make it to my house to "share the Word"; this is probably because they'd have to make it through the "mad hard ghetto" portion of my avenue first and, shyeah, it's gotta be pretty intimidating. Today as I was coming back from church I caught sight of two seated near the rear of the bus, unmistakable with their starched and bleached white shirts and nondescript pants. I couldn't help but smile. If only, man.
