I watched Batman for the second time this afternoon. It's not a movie I'd necessarily rave about, and I think that has a lot to do with the presence of Katie "Clam Beard" Holmes. But I like it. Or maybe I'm just fascinated by The Bale. I've had this thing for Christian Bale for a while now. He's handsome, but it's his mouth specifically that does it for me (but let me not lie, the rest of him is damn fine). I have a profound weakness for overbites, and he's sporting one. Well, the remains of one, since he's had corrective dental work done. I can (and apparently have) spent hours just staring at that man's mouth. Watching the way his tongue moves, in typical overbite fashion. His smile? Heh. I'm coming off as really doltish; so sue me. When I watched the scene where Bruce was showing the secretary how to putt I was so damned jealous of that actress it wasn't even funny.

But oh well.

Things have sucked lately, on the whole. But in a nebulous way, so I can't really find any one thing to complain about. Eh. Hope things are going well for the people that read this.

Fin.

Have you seen The Machinist? Is it any good? I don't especially like or dislike Christian Bale, but I'm really curious about that one.

I haven't seen it. I keep passing it in Blockbuster and I mean to watch it one of these days. I've heard that it has a plot with a twist that's rather foreseeable, though, so I'm hesitant to spend $4.50 on it.

Interesting, I was just looking at some pictures of Christian Bale and it looks like he lost a lot of weight to pack on that muscle for Batman. I think he would have looked a lot better if he kept some of that baby fat in his face. The guy who played Scarecrow, I love his eyes and mouth.

The last movie Bale was in was The Machinist, and he lost about 60 pounds for it. He ended up overcompensating to play Batman, gaining 100 pounds, which he had to whittle down a bit. He usual is around 180. Or so I hear. I sound like such an obsessed freak, I know.

The guy who played Scarecrow was Cillian Murphy. I loved his eyes as well. He was in 28 Days Later, looking slightly more sane and a lot less dapper than he appeared in Batman.

Hehe I've got my stars that swoon over. So to me you sound very normal :)

I really didn't like 28 Days Later. Murphy defiantly has the mug to play a crazy person though. I'm curious to see how the movie Red Eye will turn out. He's supposed to be the "summer's new villain"

oh GAWD, I love 28 Days Later. I love Cillian Murphy IN 28 Days Later. I've gotta see Batman, but it means overcoming my distaste for Katie Holmes enough to do it.
