I flipped over to Sci-Fi and found the little gem called "Prince of Darkness". The info blurb read "A priest summons a professor to an old church to see a canister of liquid Satan".

Liquid Satan. LIQUID SATAN.

How do these things get made??

Tonight's Daily Show with Steve Carell as the guest was so surreal. I almost didn't mind that he and Jon talked about absolutely nothing.

LOL! I remember that movie, it's a John Carpenter flick. Aaaaah how I love those cheesy horror movies. :-P

I was flipping by and I could of sworn I saw a movie titled Frankenfish. I remember when I was excited about there being a channel for sci-fi. Now it's just another channel I pay for but rarely watch.

Frankenfish is ALIVE!!

Seriously, man, it really is alive. There's a Chinese import (apparently someone really wanted a taste of their homeland) that's this major killer fish that has all the marine biologists in a tizzy. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6254302) I find it funny because they just found some 'round here, in the large pond in Flushing Meadow Park (where the US Open is held).

Sci-Fi is king of the cheesy movie. I liked them better when they showed tons of Twilight Zone episodes. Only thing I check out over there now is Battlestar Galactica and the occasional Stargate when the mood strikes me. Their "original movies" leave much to the imagination.

it's actually quite a cool film.
I don't think it was quite meant to be liquid satan, though.... actually, I'm not sure what was meant to be in te cannister, exactly...

Aww, now I feel bad. I checked out the title, laughed, and then flipped over to the cartoons. I guess I'll give it a shot next time it's on.

But, come on - liquid Satan? Hee!

"Liquid Satan: the thirst quencher!"

yeah, I would actually recomment catching it - it's a freaky movie [if you like that sort of thing].
And it's John Carpenter, so you know it'll be good :)
[it's part of his "apocolypse trilogy"]
