Rote play-by-play of my day.
Mar. 14th, 2005 12:09 amToday's been okay. No serious complaints. Started off with the compulsory church service, after which we headed off to breakfast at IHOP. After that I headed to the library to return. I can't manage to return items on-time. Simple laziness, really, seeing as all I have to do is sign on online and renew them from there if need be. The damage wasn't too bad, and I happened upon another Preacher GN (I'll have to pony up and get them in order from a comic store one of these days to fill in the missing plot) and a number of good CDs. On returning the carb overload combined with the sleep debt I managed to accrue over the last week caught up with me and I slept for a bit. Had the strangest dream(s), most of them involving various aunts.
I have a Developmental Psych test tomorrow that I haven't studied for properly. I've taken the class for granted a bit, due to the way I breezed through the first exam with about three hours of studying under my belt. That was on more general psych and, having been a Psych major, it came to me easily. This one is specifically on child psychology, and a narrow band of it at that. I've dug myself a hole. It'll be okay if I bomb because one exam is dropped, but I wanted to try to avoid the final since it was cumulative. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
So, right. OMIFREAKINGGOD! I was watching Adult Swim tonight and they announced the live table read of Family Guy they're going to have in Los Angeles and New York in April. My reaction was...well, I typed it already. Told my brother about it and he was psyched too. Since both of us were reluctant to pull out our plastics (mine is nearly maxed out, he's still paying off tuition from his) I begged mom, she was cool, and OMIFREAKINGGOD! we're going to the Family Guy thingamajiggy. Got okay seats too. If anyone's interested and will be in the area on April 29th and 30th (Friday and Saturday), they have two shows daily, 7 PM and 10PM. It's on Pre-sale at Ticketmaster and the password is "FREAKINSWEET" (I had to do a mad web scramble to find that one out). It's basically a live table read with the cast, a Q&A session, and then a preview of the upcoming season. Sweet. I'm all giddy.
Right, so....back to Erikson and Chomsky and all that fun psych stuff. Yay. Le sigh.
