Vince: It's not as if I've ever done anything.

Stuart: You've done nothing, Vince. You go to work, you go for a drink, you sit and watch cheap science fiction ... small and tiny world. What is there that's so impressive about that? What is there to love?

Vince: Yeah.

Stuart: It was good enough for me.

Every day should start out with a good quote. Luckily someone at [livejournal.com profile] goodenough4me reminded me of this one.

We shared the subway car to school this afternoon with a guy who kept blowing his nose into his hands. For the entire 40 minutes.

No, I'm mistaken. He would interrupt the nose blowing with intermittent nose picking.

Watched "Birth of A Nation" in the Institutional Racism class I take notes in. Fun. No, really, it was. We spent the entire time cracking on it. We get to the really offensive stuff on Thursday. Joy.

I really don't want to be here right now. I'm tired, I'm hot (not "-to trot", just plain old hot), I feel filthy, I'm sloughing off tissue, and I left my Ethics book at home so I'm totally not prepared for this evening's class...therefore I know he's going to give us a quiz today.

Stop my head from hurting. Wah.

What an utter waste of a day.
