1. What's your favorite line from a movie, and why?
I'm not very good with these, as my memory's slightly to the left of a goldfish's and I'm more of a visual person than an aural person when it comes to retention. And I never have a single favorite. I'm fond of most of Janeane Garofalo's character's lines in "The Truth About Cats and Dogs", because I am Abby. Really, I am.
2. Who's your favorite villain from a movie, and why?
The fax machine from "Office Space" ("'PC Load Letter'? What the f**k does that mean??") tied with the Nihilists from "The Big Lebowski" ("We hate nothing!"). The fax machine gets love mainly for the sequence involving
*Please don't point out that I managed to muster up lines from movies for this questions while pleading brain atrophy and giving nothing specific for the first question. Fine. A line I loved from "The Truth About Cats and Dogs": "You can love your pet, just don't love your pet." There. My logic astounds me.
3. Name one movie everyone else loves that you hate.
There exists no movie that everyone loves...lalalaWhat did people find enjoyable in "Something About Mary"? Seriously, like, where was the funny in that movie?
4. Name one movie everyone else hates that you love.
Again with the fallacious questions... Critics weren't too fond of "Underworld", and I enjoyed it for the leather-clad romp it aspired to be.
5. What's your favorite Pixar film, and why? "Finding Nemo". There are far too few father-son bonding movies out there, and Nemo was cute. Plus, the turtles! The seagulls ("rats with wings")! Ring of fire! Ringoffire! Great stuff. I love "The Incredibles", but I always fast-forward at least half an hour of it when I watch nowadays. I sit through "Finding Nemo" from start to finish.
