My head's going "boom-boom-boom" in that life-affirming yet abso-fuckin'-lutely painful way that gives a body reason to retreat to a dark bedroom. You know, *more* reason than one usually has, in any case. Least my uterus has stopped acting like a petulant child (thank GOD for aspirin).

Is it me, or has SciFi pumped loads more into BSG's promo budget than ever before? I keep seeing ads on basic TV, and when I flipped to the local NBC news I was gobsmacked by Laura Roslin...Mary something or another (gah! I know her name, but brain dancing to techno bass and nonresponsive) on the interview seat. I'm a fan of it, don't get me wrong - the more publicity for my show the better - but I do hope all of this translates into increased viewership and a longer life. On the same track I am TOTALLY psyched for the premiere. I wish I knew of a premiere viewing party...or had the money to organize one myself. Anywhozit, I know where I'll be come 9PM Friday: in front of my TV with a nice cup of darjeeling and some crackers (yeah, I'm a goddamned party animal).

Tonight's South Park, with a storyline revolving around WoW, was quite amusing, although I think if I actually played the game I'd get more of the in-jokes. As it was I just extrapolated my experiences from MMORPing the only crap my computer could have run, Diablo and Diablo II (ah, the many colleges nights we spent raiding dungeons and leveling up come back so quickly).

And, Jesus, Jon Stewart seems really *bitter* tonight. More than usual. He isn't messing around on the Foley issue, God bless him.

I thought SP was funny too, even though I've never played WoW. Fortunately a WoW maniac was watching it with me and explained some of the inside jokes.

I just started watching BSG I'm on the first season and trying to catch up like a mofo :-D. To bad you didn't live closer (much, much closer) then we could have a BSG watching party. I'd absolutely be game.

It's always nice to start the day with a friend's post having the word 'uterus' in it. Kudos.

Friday you say? Right - get's the downloading stick at the ready. Bring on the robots!

I need to watch that South Park, as people at work have been going on about it a lot, and I do like South Park. Hugely.

Is it wrong that I can't stand Diablo? Never played II. I just never 'got' it.

I love when beloved shows return for the new season.

And I know you are a TRUE party animal. Now, if you'll be eating animal crackers while watching the premiere, that'll take the cake. *grin*

I missed South Park! I think I was still upset about the Yankees game being postponed at that time to watch. I'll have to catch the repeat.

Oh, yeah, and one week from today...get ready for a real party! *grin* Well, as party-ish as I ever get...which really isn't party-ish at all. But, yeah...I guarantee you'll have a blast with me. At least, I hope. :)

::curtseys:: I'm always happy to oblige.

When is S3 of BSG starting over there. Is it even on air in France? Poor thing. If you have a VCR I could vid a couple episodes from the new season for you and mail it your way. Ask me if you're desperate, as it'd be no trouble at all.

The South Park episode is funny, but like most recent South Park they run the joke for too long. I laughed more or less nonstop during the first 10 minutes but after that it was more "okay, they need to end this already".

You never got it? What's there to get? Run, kill, collect, repeat ad nauseam. I got the most enjoyment from playing with friends and actually, you know, RPing as my character. It was hard to find people as interested in just playing for fun.

*grin* I figure Blizzard loved the advertisement.

I'd be game too! Aww.
How far along in the first season are you? Are you enjoying it? I remember getting sucked in by the mini and just sitting up watching the show. Good times.

Yay! Next week.

That Yankees thing was weird. They should have just cancelled the game outright instead of keeping people hanging until 10PM.

I know! I had the feeling it would be cancelled, because it was raining pretty damn hard. Waste of everyone's time.

Yeah, that was one thing my friend had to explain to me. She said they probably paid a pretty hefty licensing fee to even be able to mention World of Warcraft.

Unless they came to some agreement with Blizzard. They didn't disparage the product, so I figure they might have been able to pull it off with little payment to them. But, eh? Who knows.

Then thank you my dear! Uterii make my day.

If it's on in France they'll just dub it into French anyway, they don't like their English one bit. I'll just dl it via bittorrent from somewhere. Thanks for the offer though!

Looks like a big advert, wonder if there was some politics going on there. But I'll watch out of duty mainly.

Ech, I played it on my own in single player, and I just never really got into it that much. But I don't like a lot of games that people don't, like the FF series.

Not too far into I'm trying not to watch it ahead of DH I loved the mini, it got me sucked in so fast too. I was a little upset that you find out Boomer is a sleeper agent at the end so you start the series knowing this, but then again they didn't know if it would become a series so they did good I guess. I'll probably just watch it without him anyways because he has been so busy with work that when it's time to relax he isn't up to watching something new. Hmmm, I might hold a BSG marathon next week and see how fast it takes me to get caught up.
