I want a Vinatieri jersey. Until last night I wanted a Vinatieri Patriots jersey - I was up in Providence while the Patriots were making with the Superbowls so I think I'm allowed to jump wagon for a little bit - but then, dayum, last night's Colts game? Vinatieri's the goddamned man wherever he goes. I think I might settle for a Colts jersey, because it's impossible to find a Patriots one.
I spent the weekend studying some and watching Newsradio. Perfect combo! Still waiting for that offer letter...pleaseLordletnothingbemessedupthislateinthegame.
I've been making my way through the Dresden File books in anticipation of the series premiere in January. The weird thing is I don't think I'm really really enjoying the series. I mean, I like it enough to keep reading but I figure that's mainly because it's just entertaining enough that I don't feel like pitching the books across the room when I'm done. The basic pattern of the books don't vary much: Harry's tired, something happens to Harry to threaten his life, a couple of seemingly non-related incidents are pressed upon Harry, Harry nearly gets his ass handed to him, Harry comes out alive. Should I not feel like the groove itself is a little boring? The dialogue is snappy (and damn near Sorkinesque in the latter books between Murphy and Harry), Harry is hilarious, and the array of characters are interesting. I'm in the middle of Death Masks now and hope to wrap up the series (or what's been currently completed anyway) before Monday.

Date: 2006-10-31 01:33 am (UTC)If you go to any "FootLocker"(I don't know if they exist on the east coast..."Finish Line" is the same thing thing I think) they will order any jersey for you, and they usually have a list of retro-jerseys, might be worth checking out if you really want it. That is how I got my Derrick Thomas jersey after he died.

Please forgive the repetitiveness and irrelevance; I've had a long day.

And you were perfectly relevant and non-repetitive; happy happy sleep time, my friend.
