Aww, Alex...*hugs*

Altered Carbon looks good (however... whoa! $75 for the hardcover at Amazon? Are the pages plated in platinum or something) but the description (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=altered+carbon&x=0&y=0) has me a little worried. I never did get past the first fifty pages of Neuromancer. Do I have to give up my Geek Cred for admitting that?

Altered Carbon is faaaaaantasssssticcccc. Really an amazing book. Plus, unlike Gibson, it's easy to read.

Sounds like good business. I'll see about getting my hands on it asap.

I've never even tried to read Neuromancer...I guess my geek cred is at an all time low there.

But $75? Good grief - I got a signed copy for only $20!
