There's a yoga conference/show going on in the bottom portion of the hotel. Which may or may not explain the overwhelming odor of pachouli and sage that's lingering down there. Joy.
i'm kind of embarrassed to admit that i actually like patchouli—in small amounts, and generally when it's mixed with another scent, like amber or rose oil. i'm not the biggest fan when it's used in massive amounts as an attempt to cover up the odor of dirty hippie, though.
I didn't mention the body funk because I figured that'd be construed as too insulting. But, yeah, the elevator rides with the folks that had yoga mats flung over their shoulders? not fun.
