The most relaxing part of being in San Fran. was the hotel service and *not having to worry about work for seven days*. I felt my blood pressure more or less normalizing. It was awesome. And the last day was neat because I didn't do much of anything so I wasn't too tired from all the trekking the days before.

Muir Woods was lovely. I would like to have more time to explore the trails, and eventually I'll like to go further north to the sequoia forests, but it was an hour well spent.

I adore your Alcatraz story. *grin*

Thanks! I'll try to make my camera cooperate. My pics weren't anything spectacular, but I'll see about putting one or two up.
