It's not bad, it just hasn't struck me as "ohmygawdsoGOOD", you know? Butcher is great at producing work (steady production, if you think about it: between Codex and Dresden the man's published at least 400 pages a year over the last seven or so years...look out, Danielle Steele!) that's interesting, if somewhat predictable. Which isn't a bad thing.
