fredericksSince I have the post window up and enough substance in my head for a Twitter-sized update I figure I might as well share what I devised for dinner: waffles topped with grilled portobello mushrooms (smothered with diced garlic, some olive oil, and a dash of sesame ginger dressing), olives, and feta, chicken skewers, a peach, and two Japanese pastries. Kashi 7 Grain waffles aren't sweet enough to use in any manner that isn't savory, IMO. I enjoyed every bite.
Still trying to figure out my DCon schedule. Definitely going to make at least one Torchwood panel, going to hit up the big SGA/SG1 panel on Saturday(?), will swing by the Colonial Fleet Party Saturday evening, am going to try to make it through at least one fanfic panel (seated in the back so I can make a hasty exit when I become overwhelmed by all the HP/Trek folk), might end up sitting in on more than a couple writing panels, and might actually try to take in some of the Parade. I'll probably end up organizing things well into Wednesday evening.
I haven't started my vacation yet and I already feel like I need some more. :/
