Uhm, yeah

I went to the dermatologist today to get an irregularly shaped and hued mole checked out. I deliberated for quite a bit before making the appointment and thought more than a couple of times about canceling after, but figured I might as well see things though. The appointment was for today at 2:30 and I ended up leaving work at 2 to get over there. All of the worry was for nothing - I was literally in the office for no more than 20 minutes with less than 1 (!) of those minutes spent being examined by the doctor, who determined it was a burst capillary and sent me on my way. Basically I ended up with an early day off from work, which is so much win as Aunt Flo has ambushed me early and has me crampy and a bit grumpy.

I actually did make that diet/weight loss community I'd mentioned a while back but haven't done much in the way of prettying it up or making a mission statement/community info page. Will attempt to do so this w/e.

And as of this week I'm officially no longer obese, just overweight (thanks, BMI). Go Team Me!

Home early with no major plans. Time for a nap. *grin*

No worries... I've had the doctor look at all sorts of weird things with easy explanations (scarring on neck - autoimmune condition; mole on arm - cyst; runner's toe - sitting on my foot.) Better to know than not!

Definitely. I thought it was benign, and it's reassuring to have a pro tell me it was even *less* benign than I'd believed. Sucks that I had to pay a $20 copay to find it out, though. Oh well.
