This is why I need a DVR: The Walking Dead premiere conflicts with the second episode of Sherlock Sunday night. And they both come on between 9-10pm, when I'm usually hunkering down with my nightcap and running through my nightly ablutions. And I actually have plans for that night - going to check out Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake(!). I do hate to be out and about Sunday night, but on the other hand I'm out and about Sunday night, so there's that.

I'll try to get that DVR box tomorrow. Plans = good times.

If I'm not mistaken The Walking Dead will be shown first at 9-10, and then again right after.

It was. I still haven't gotten a chance to watch it. I get the feeling I'll end up DVRing things and never actually finding the time to view them.

I'd like to see the walking dead. Too bad AMC doesn't hulu their shows. grrr. Have fun at Swan Lake, the massive sign for it in Times Square makes me curious!

My DVR made my life a better place. I still feel a little shamed when my non-pop culture loving friends are all, "I don't watch TV," but screw them. They don't have surprise episodes of Ninja Warrior to make them smile.

With the frequency that Ninja Warrior repeats how have you not watched every episode at least twice? Still love the insanity of that show, though.

I DVR'd Sherlock and Walking Dead, but I can just see myself never actually getting around to watching them. I think just knowing I'm recording the damn things makes me feel better.

I've thought about watching Walking Dead (I lovelovelove the lead actor), but I don't think I make myself do it. Too scary. Sorry, hot guy.
