Mar. 27th, 2011 11:30 pmK, the lack of comment e-mail alerts from LJ is starting to really piss me off. I haven't gotten notifications in two weeks. Anyone else dealing with the same problem? Wait, you'll comment in the affirmative and I won't know. Ha. I figure it's an issue with AOL's spam filter and LJ e-mail addresses being used by spam bots all over the place.
The end of this week was better than the beginning. Thursday after running class I met up with
captainschlumpy to grab dinner and briefly shop at the Limelight. Friday after work a couple co-workers and I had dinner and drinks then hit a karaoke spot in a futile attempt to get mics and serenade the crowd (waiting list = crazy long). I was plied with drinks and had entirely too much fun. Completely welcome by that point.
Vacation comes soon! Unfortunately I have to work this weekend ::sad face::, but once I'm past that AND the wedding (tangerine dreams? more like nightmares, homg), I'm home free for a week. I'd planned to check out "The Book of Mormon," but tickets have suddenly become scarce as hell. I checked a week and a half ago and there were pairs of tickets available during my vacation week. Now? Nothing until May. Jebus.
The bros and I played "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" the video game this weekend after d/l it from the XBox Marketplace. V. v. fun. It's a great throwback to games like "Double Dragon" and "TMNT" and "Super Mario Bros. 2" (throwable turnips ftw!). And I'm been chilling to the soundtrack for the last couple of weeks.
