44. A guy dressed up as Bane walks by. A few minutes later, a guy dressed up as Batman starts to walk by, in the same direction that Bane had gone.

::random semi-drunk frat guy on the street observing the superheroes with a completely serious expression on his face:: "Batman, hey Batman! Don't go that way! Bane just went up there!"

Batman continues walking.

::random semi-drunk frat guy, morosely:: "I was just trying to look out for him, save him from a broken back."

Man, maybe the WORST thing about having moved away from the ATL (okay, aside from, you know, abandoning my beloved parents) is that I can no longer go people watch at DC. I have never actually *attended* DC, but until I moved away, going to watch the parade and revel in the nerdification of downtown was one of my great pleasures.

This was the first year I got to see the parade (had an excellent view from my room) and it was great stuff. Nice, short, and sweet.
