We got front page mention on CNN.com. The entire nation erupts into cheers. And I can tell by the mention of 'shark and bake' (fried shark sandwiched between a round piece of fried dough - delicious with tons of pepper) that you can pick up for 2TT on the shores of Maracas Bay (best beach not on Tobago) and the "Trini" referral that the article was written by a native.
I hear it's fun down there during Carnival. Not my cup of tea, but fun.

I order the iPod on the Apple website. The website says something or another will ship from California. I check Fed-Ex and it's shipping from SHANGHAI. And it's missing some damned paperwork, so it hasn't even made it on a plane yet. I call up customer service and am speaking to someone in INDIA who, it turns out, can't help me in the least. Boggles the mind. I stammer for a bit and hang up the phone.
