Is it my fault that I've never been in a fight? I always thought that was a character bonus (IRL, of course). Hmph. When I'm playing I usually like to be a cleric or some sort of character that combines magicks and physical attributes, the only problem being they usually end up middling at both. Have I mentioned how much I'd like to play some old school tabletop D&D lately? Damn.
Wizard 40% Combativeness, 40% Sneakiness, 70% Intellect, 30% Spirituality |
Brilliant! You are a Wizard! Wizards are spells-casters who study powerful arcane magic. While Wizards tend to be pretty fragile, some of those spells can pack quite a punch. Unlike Clerics, Wizards aren’t as good at fixing people as they are at breaking them, so watch where you toss that fireball… Your most distinctive trait is your intelligence. You're probably well learned and logical, if perhaps a bit fragile. |

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
|
You scored higher than 17% on Combativeness |
|
You scored higher than 51% on Sneakiness |
|
You scored higher than 48% on Intellect |
|
You scored higher than 30% on Spirituality |

Date: 2005-10-09 04:00 am (UTC)Mages were awesome. You sit back and hurl stuff, having the brawny guys take the major damage. And you always kept your dexterity high in case you had to haul ass out of the fight. *grin*

Date: 2005-10-07 04:18 pm (UTC)I would love to play some old school tabletop D&D again. I miss it but there is no one I know who still plays. I even went so far as to buy the Players and DM's Guide when the 3rd edition rules came out.

Oh, people still play tabletop. They're just more covert about it because of the proliferation of online games in the same vein. I'm tempted to give a D&D shout-out on one of the NYC communities to find players, but I know my schedule would make it almost impossible to find time. Oh, for Winter Break.

We're snobs and audition gamers.
But... they're the best players I've ever seen evar.
Evar!

Date: 2005-10-13 04:19 pm (UTC)I'd volunteer myself, but the audition gaming is too elite for my taste. It's a great way to get (and keep) a good game going, though; I don't blame y'all one bit. Sides, my waxing poetic over playing was more wistful thinking than anything else; most of my Saturdays (and Mondays and Tuesday, etc etc) have been spent doing schoolwork or in the school lab.
