I have no money. In order to pay my upcoming bills I'll most likely be moved to ask my parental units or my brother for a "loan". However HOWEVER I was foolish geek enough to pay for a ticket to New York Comic-Con. Mind you, this thing isn't until February of next year. A weekend of utter comic bliss and I'm not even sure if I'll be in a sane enough mental state to attend. Oh well. I've never been to a Con before, so this should be interesting. I keep hoping Craig Thompson, Jack Robinson, or Mike Carey make an appearance but I'm not holding my breath.

God, imagine if Alan Moore...no. I should put the crack pipe down and stop dreaming.

Ooh! Ooh! Do you think if you go to Comic-con we could hang together and split the price of a hotel room and whatever? I could cosplay as Cyclops!

I have no problem with hanging, but seeing as the venue is practically in my backyard I'm not going to put up for a hotel room. I'd offer to board you but I'm not living on my own. If you do end up making your way out here for that weekend rates should be low (for a reputable hotel in Queens anyway, meaning maybe 80-100/night...?).

I get the feeling you just want to dress up as Cyclops some more. *grin*

Eh, maybe it'll just be too expensive. The cost of transportation plus the cost of registering plus the cost of the hotel plus any incidentals is probably too much. Oh well.

Money is the devil. I have never had any, and I can not forsee ever having any. Bring back the barter system! "A turnip for that medallion my fine sir."

And how does that whole "money is the devil" line work on the judges when you're getting wrung out by debt collectors?

The truly evil thing is money is only the devil when you have none. Or not enough. Then again, what is enough? Damn. I like things too much.
