Speaking of which, it's very sad that my Sim people have gotten more Woohoo in their 25 days of Sim Life than I have gotten in my 25 YEARS of real life. And yes, one of them is a lothario, but I feel that doesn't excuse me.

If I had a ton of relatives with b-days in December I'd mail/give them a card or something and say "oops! the gift is in the mail" and then give them a little (very little) something extra in addition to what I'd planned to give them for the holidays. I wouldn't be liked too much but, oh well.
At least I know, since my family is in Michigan, that it's cold and there are lots of blizzards in March...so I imagine there's little else to do :)
I think February/March are the worst months when it comes to winter storms. Your logic makes perfect sense.
