Writing about it helped. Avoiding him helped. Jo came over and let me vent some more, then we laughed over gossipy Whitney Houston idiocy and that helped. Alex's comment really helped (really and truly; you're good with the words there, my friend). Now I get ready for my interview and plan my future.

Participated in the "Walk for the [Breast Cancer] Cure" this morning. Managed to overhear one woman talking about her post-walk plans as we were powerwalking by: "I'm gonna go home, rest for a bit, crochet, and then watch some Lifetime." Dead. Up. that is what she said with a straight face. The estrogen knocked me over for a bit. That and the huge fit of giggles I had to surpress.
