I went to sleep at 2AM. I "woke up" at 5:40AM, shaking off one of the most surreal dreams I've ever had. This shit cannot go on. I'm scheduled for another three-day next week and I'm going to have to wheedle and beg to see if I can call out one of those days because I can't do this again. Jesus.
A couple of links and randomness:
*Fine, it's all promotional for the movie, but that doesn't make it any less cool - April 30th to May 6th is Spider-Man Week in NYC. I, for one, appreciate how much love Queens is getting in this thing.
*Bodega Cat. BODEGA CAT. ("bodega" being the name for small convenience stores in and around the city). The comments are just as hilarious as the original post.
*TWoP is now recapping "The Wire". It's not quite the same as taking in the awesomeness of that show via DVD (yo, Omar be straight thuggin'!), but it brings the funny.
*Went with oldest bro to see "Avenue Q" last night and, lackluster Gary Coleman aside, it was a cure for what ails me (aside from the whole screwed up sleep schedule, but that'll most likely take divine intervention). After the show I made a donation to Broadway Cares and walked out with four (FOUR!) autographed posters. I'm going to frame them and stick them around my room once I'm done renovating.
