Shiny happy people

I'm feeling fairly upbeat and I have no idea why. I've decided to steal the gnarly autumnfaerie's idea and ask you lovely people ("you" being anyone who happens to run across my journal) - what makes you happy?

And before I'm asked - yes, one of the things that makes me happy is prodding people to find out what makes them happy.

Lots of things make me happy! Live music, road trips, my cats, my close friends, when someone goes out of their way to make me feel special, having something fun to look forward to, good food, various books, cartoons, tv shows, cds and dvds, finding really good clothing sales, sunshine, muppets, getting snail mail... that's all I can really think of specifically. Little things quite often make me happy. I'm a firm believer in finding your own happiness where ever you can. Of course sometimes I temporarily forget that.
