Not that I particularly care about the happenings of Sir McCartney, but blah blah his marriage might be on the outs and the media's raising all sorts of questions about prenuptial agreements that I've thought off and on about since Lord knows when. Does signing a prenup mean that you believe your marriage will go down the tubes? Or is it just a safety net because realistically you know something like 1/2 (3/4?) of marriages end with a visit to the local judge? Out of curiosity I have to ask -

Comments, marriage proposals...drop 'em below. Enlighten me, please.

In other non-related media news, Halle Berry wants to quit the whole superhero gig. Good! - go frak up some other movies I have no intention to see. That woman's "acting" makes me break out into hives.

I'm very hesitant because I've heard enough about what goes on within it that I believe the movie will not do the source material justice. And I know Storm gets exponentially more screen time and I dislike Halle Berry's "acting". A lot. My brother will most likely end up dragging me out to the theatre. He's already threatened me if I don't go with them already.

Are you going?

Yes and no. I support comics. I especially like comics that aren't superhero-like. I buy comics. Comics interest me. But a fan? Eh, not exactly. I certainly wouldn't call myself a fan-girl. I have to admit that Dan has gotten me interested in comics (he once published an online comics anthology) largely because he has such a passion for them. And he turned me onto Aaron Moore--and that's opened a whole can of comic interest for me. And he's showed me how comic book hero stuff isn't just about the masturbatory fantasies of young nerd boys grown up; it sometimes (often?) is allegorical. So I didn't get the fascination with X-men before the way I do now. And now, I really am interested; willing to give it a shot.
