Not that I particularly care about the happenings of Sir McCartney, but blah blah his marriage might be on the outs and the media's raising all sorts of questions about prenuptial agreements that I've thought off and on about since Lord knows when. Does signing a prenup mean that you believe your marriage will go down the tubes? Or is it just a safety net because realistically you know something like 1/2 (3/4?) of marriages end with a visit to the local judge? Out of curiosity I have to ask -

I've been informed that prenups aren't just "in case of divorce". They're finances set in stone before the marriage begins. But I've not thought seriously about the topic of marriage since...hmm, couple of years. I can see your point, though. None of the married people who responded were really for prenups. Interesting.
