I didn't think American Beauty to be too bad (I'm pretty sure I stuck it in the "it's okay" camp back when), but what's with the critical vitriol being shot at it nowadays? Maybe that's why the kids quickly vanished.
IMO, Skeet and Depp looked remarkably similar back in the 90s. Particularly Skeet and a "21 Jump Street" -era Depp (although that Depp is from the 80's, but you know what I mean). It's the jaw and cheekbones that make the comparison possible.
Skeet Ulrich is the poor man's Johnny Depp made my day. Thanks for the laugh.
I couldn't decide who to vote for Micheal Keaton or Christian Bale. So I went with Bale, he's dreamy. :) Micheal Keaton brings the intensity though.
I always laugh in Batman Begins when Christian says, "Do I look like a cop?" It really reminds me of the guy that does the voice of Richard Nixon on Futurama. I usually laugh out loud.

I think Christian Bale makes a great post Frank Miller-era Batman (aka "The Dark Knight"), but Keaton's demeanor was great for classic Batman. That Bale is pretty on the eyes doesn't hurt either.
Though Bale's Batman voice? Hilarious. Every time he spoke I wanted to give him a lozenge.
