Vacation

As in I has it. My plans to head to the wilds of Toronto were postponed due to a union training event scheduled for this weekend that was sprung on me two weeks ago, but a small plus is that the event is at a resort in Connecticut. I'm in the middle of packing for my bus ride up now (procrastination is my bff), and hope to be up there by 4pm. I'm not necessarily looking forward to this, as I don't know anyone well and I'm not the best of socializers even if with friends, but I figure at least I'll learn a few things and get access to gym and fitness stuff for a few. I leave for Toronto Monday morning, and I'm hella stoked about the entire trip.

Family continues to be nutso, job front continues to be rocky (contract negotiations make me want to bang my head into walls on the regular), but at least I get a mini-break for a hot minute.

Here's to hoping this resort has internet access.

Thanks! I'm all excited about going to Canada for the first time. You'd think it was some exotic land of milk and honey. I have been throwing "aboot"s around like there's no tomorrow as well.
