Yesterday sort of sucked, because my super-early wake up (my alarm was set for 3:30, but I ended up waking up at 2:30 and found it impossible to go back to sleep) completely threw me off my groove. The conference was interesting, but I spent a good bit of the morning zombified. Thank God my old boss/one of my current coworkers was in attendance, and she was nice enough to volunteer to give me a drop home. It's taken a near herculean effort for me to get up and at 'em today, but now that I've finally tamed my hair and thrown some relatively clean clothing on my plan is to putz around in the city and catch a showing of 50/50

Since I have yet to actually sit down and watch *any* of the movies/shows I have piled on my desk I'm just going to put this one out there for you guys to decide:

I ended up marathoning all three episodes last night, fast-forwarding through more of the annoying portions of the second episode. God, I'd forgotten exactly HOW slashy the show was. I love it! Totally worth not falling asleep until 3 am. :)

i really want to see 50/50 - i heart JGL so much!

i started the 1st Sherlock - but couldn't finish - i guess i wasn't feeling it at that time. i should give it another try though - everyone is telling me it's sooo good. hmm.

I *loved* 50/50. Sort of an understated neatly underwritten movie with some funny bits.

And Sherlock grows on you. Should try it again when you get a chance. Benedict Cumberbatch = most british name ever.
