I'm fairly certain some Stephen King book began with the protagonist getting a BJ from his wife, thus leading to the death of some Native American wise woman and the usual cursing/impending death/deus ex machina plot. Just bought my brother a cellphone. A prepaid phone. It starts, says I. I would have gotten him a plan phone (they're cheaper in the long run) but there's no way in hell I wanted to be responsible if he ran up a humongous bill. Oldest bro made himself a $400 bill his first month with a phone (that my aunt had to pay off - sucker; I mean, she was sweet to do that for him, but...). Oh, but my cousin who goes to private HS in Mass. ran up a (get ready for it) THREE THOUSAND DOLLAR bill her first month into contract. The HELL is that possible??? I'm thinking she just never hung up the phone. Hopefully the folks don't raise a ruckus, but the boy has to run here and there a lot for sports and such; we need a better way to keep track of him.
Interview/first meeting for Samaritans in is two weeks. Why am I nervous as all hell about this? I hope I make an okay impression. It helps that the HQ is in the Village. I'd love to get an apartment there eventually.
