fredericksI'm disgustingly out of it at the moment. Then again, what's new, huh?
Yesterday was pretty much a waste on the educational front. Went to class but I didn't want to be there. Skipped out of Anatomy Lab early and grabbed lunch with an aunt. Afterwards I went back to Hunter with the intent of studying for my Micro test but I was too restless. I weighed walking around Central Park to clear my head but decided I needed something else. I went down to Midtown Comics, initially just to browse, but then found myself pulling out the credit to pick up some titles. I...freaking idiot. Not that the books weren't a great read, of course. Got one of the Preachers my library didn't carry, Tom Strong #3 Trade (I love how Tesla got herself a hot guy...heh heh), and finally got my paws on the Whedon's Astonishing, the line that's been garnering lots of buzz. I'm sort of peeved Claremont's still monopolizing Storm in Uncanny (I'd love to see what Whedon could do with her, seeing as she's like my favorite X-person ever) but otherwise, yeah, Astonishing's teh hottness!!! OMGWTF! Colossus and Kitty!! Yay! Make it work this time, kiddies.
Now it's off to movie night with the bros, minus one.
