Shiny happy people

I'm feeling fairly upbeat and I have no idea why. I've decided to steal the gnarly autumnfaerie's idea and ask you lovely people ("you" being anyone who happens to run across my journal) - what makes you happy?

And before I'm asked - yes, one of the things that makes me happy is prodding people to find out what makes them happy.

What makes me happy....Hmm!

It makes me happy to be in the state where I can truly appreciate the world around me fully, without feeling self concious, without preconceptions or expectations, those rare moments when I am completley in the NOW.
My connection and telepathy with my friends makes me happy.You know the kind where you just stare at eachother and one of you bursts out laughing cuz they can feel what your thinking and it cracks them up?

I simply adore creating, drawing, being, dancing, it gives me reason tolive, it reminds me I'm special and truly alive, and it puts me in my proper place in the cosmos.

Aside from all these things, there is of course the old stand bys of great food, great sex, being in love, having true friends...Having a family one can depend on, feeling stable in one's money situation, having goals that make one happy, etc etc...
