Oddly, I have a Cerebus-as-librarian sketch. And the first thing I think? "That must be *adorable*". Tell me he has the broadsword strapped on as well.
Funny enough, Cerebus's misogynistic tendencies I could brush off as in-character. He certainly got his heart stomped on enough. If there was a page and a half of ranting against women I would have thrown the book against the wall sooner than I did (I think I made it a little more than 3/4 through the series; maybe I missed all the really offensive stuff).
This NaNo thing and I are already falling out. Not good.
