An explanation for my recent bouts of fatigue, the mild abdominal discomfort, the depressed mood, and (most telling,) the constant playing of the Tori Amos albums on my iPod and my recent purchase of Sarah McLachlan's "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy": Aunt Flo's all up in my piece. Gotta love the hormones.

Date: 2008-08-11 12:48 am (UTC)HILARIOUS. :) Thank you for that. For the entire comment, actually.
Another reason why I'm currently at "eh, motherhood? maybe not for me": I'm all stoked about the whole "dressing my child like an X-Man" thing. I laugh at the moms that dress their kids up like every day is Halloween, but if I find a nerdy costume I don't think I'd be able to help myself.

Date: 2008-08-10 01:23 am (UTC)I getcha. My cramps are manageable, and I *still* feel like curling into a ball two days out of the month. I always feel for folks that have it bad.
