It's Halloween, Y'all

fredericksUgh. Feeling a bit iffy right now. I was a bad girl and splurged on some Escovitch Fish that was laying out, even though I wasn't hungry. I can literally feel the oil seeping out of my pores as I type.
I'm officially part of the Radio Shack family. Turns out the second interview I had to head in for today was nothing more than me listening to the District Manager drone on and on about his life. Apparently I did well on that test they gave us to do and the guy wanted to know if I'd think about making Radio Shack a career choice. I really can't see myself in doing that, but I wouldn't mind being picked up as a regular part-timer once the season passed. Because of that I didn't really know how to respond. I hope I made it clear to him that I'd want to stay on as long as they'll have me, even though I intend to go back to school. I filled out a lot of paperwork and am supposed to attend an orientation meeting tomorrow at 10. Whee. *sigh*
Went to the Halloween Parade in the Village tonight. I think I would have had more fun if a, I wasn't with my aunt and b, I was in costume. Not that Aunt A. isn't fun sometimes but I was just out of it today and she can rub me the wrong way when I'm in a mood. It's a good thing I didn't end up buying that nun costume that I wanted; there were more than a few nuns in attendance there. Most of them were knocked up by accompanying priests. Those were the second most popular costume choices. The first? Roy, of Siegfried and Roy fame. It was hilarious and wrong, which made it a laugh riot. Most Roys were bloody and bruised, and more than a few had stuffed Siberian Tigers hanging from various body parts. Overall the experience was fun but I definitely have to go all out next year. I suppose I should start planning from now.
Two movies are out that I really need to see - one is Die Mommie Die, which just seems hilarious (*where* do I know Charles Busch from??) and the other is Pieces of April , which seems like a good ole holiday tear-jerker. Why am I sharing this? I have no bloody idea.
And that is my cue to close up shop.
