I don't ask for much for Christmas (Scout's honor!), but The Siege is playing on TV (apparently Sci-Fi is running an Atlantis mini-marathon) and I want...okay, so we all know the Khan shirts, right? Well, I want a "Kolya" (or, rather, "Kolyaaaaaaaaaaa!") shirt. I find it hard to believe someone out there *hasn't* made one already, but man!, it would be great to own and don occasionally.
And if you missed it, holiday joy and whatnot.

Date: 2007-11-21 03:23 pm (UTC)If it was possible to engage in sexual relations with a webstore, I think ThinkGeek and I would be well on our way to the breakfast phase. Such an awesome site! I don't know if they have the shirt I was looking for, but there's definitely things there I crave. Thanks a bunch for the link! *grin*

Date: 2007-11-21 03:19 pm (UTC)The only thing of Kunieda's I've come across is Memory of the Future (sp?), and I love it to death. The last chapter I found translated online was 4, I believe. I used to read that thing over and over again. Those two are so cute (see icon).
though i do promise not to fangirl...
Date: 2007-11-25 12:22 am (UTC)let me also recommend some of her darker stuff:
like as the time will come when it will rain
the other side of the sky (REALLY dark)
summertime memory (most of it is dark, but the last story is just really funny)
the guardian (seriously AMAZING!)
and these are more cute, in the vein of memory of the future:
a reason for earlobes
show me heaven
temperature of a sigh
the summer cat turns its back
lingering on the way
our graduation
some of those links are to aarinfantasy, so they won't work if you aren't a registered member. if you don't wanna register, just let me know and i'll dig up a link for you when i have a minute.
also, if you like saika kunieda, might i also recommend yamagata satomi?^^ her stuff is beautiful and sometimes heartbreakingly realistic.
/end "dealer" mode
time to go work on an essay, i think...^^;
